Smells. Of oak and sharp esters. Not quite nail polish. Brown sugar. A little vanilla and leather as well. Taste is milder than it smells. Brown sugar and ripe banana. Honey. Creamy texture. Medium finish, banana followed by lightly astringent woodiness.

First try West Indies from independent bottler. Nose: WOW !!! Absolutely untipical rum. It's combination between medicine notes, some esters, fish fat, rotten & fermented notes, polish, synthetic, rubber, little bit smoky. And yellow, tropical fruits: apricots, mango, papaya, peaches. Some prunes. Weird, but very interesting. Palate: super dry & tannins. Oily, little bit dirty, raw almonds or apricoat bone, anise, roots, leather, dry apricots & lot of wood. Not so amazing, like aroma, but still very interesting. Conclusion: Wow, incredible experience.
