#5170 26.03.2025 Running some samples at home. Nose Fresh, fruity, light floral, citrus, spice, light anise, vegetal, light herbal. Palate Oily, fresh, balanced, light floral, cinnamon, light anise, citrus, light grass, faint iodine, light salt. Finish Medium to long, fresh, oily, citrus, light herbal, light licorice, naturally sweet. Empty glass Light medicinal, light grass, citrus, light olive, sugarcane.

A very smooth white agricultural rum. A lovely agricultural freshness perfumes the nostrils, with earthy, herbaceous and vegetal notes, accompanied by citrus fruits (lemon) that round out the angles. A hint of salt underscores the subtlety of the nose. The attack on the palate is ample, supple and pleasant. Citrus and dried fruit dominate the palate, leaving sugarcane and its vegetal notes more in the background. Round, fresh and very well structured. The finish, of decent length, is surprisingly warm, dry and slightly spicy. Vegetal and earthy flavors come back to the fore, in the face of citrus. A very fine cuvée that will delight all Ti Punch lovers.

Pas de réelle surprise sur ce blanc. La canne à sucre, les agrumes. Un côté floral. C'est bon mais manque de vigueur du fait de la réduction. Il en faut pour tous les palais mais ici le rhum perd en intérêt à mon sens.

Can be drunk well pure, lifts the Ti Punch to another level. You should give the rhum about 15 minutes in the glass time.

Sehr angenehme Nase, süße Blumen, Nektar, Zuckerrohr am Gaumen gepaart mit Gewürzen, ein Hauch von Anis. Im Abgang pfeffrig, aber nicht bissig. Insgesamt rund und stimmig. Bisher mein bester Weißer.

Weniger saftig/süß als der Cuvee de la Montagne. Dafür etwas kräftiger, leicht pfeffrig, Gewürznoten. Bleibt etwas länger und ist aufgrund des würzigeren Abgangs nicht ganz so erfrischend. Etwas schwerer. Mit Zeit und Luft werden die würzigen Noten auch in der Nase stärker.

Un buon agricole, facile da bere e per niente impegnativo. Al naso domina il profumo di agrumi, limone soprattutto. Lo si sente anche al palato: agrumi, fiori, pepe e una leggerissima nota salata. Finale medio. Buono ma credo che la distillazione abbia spogliato molto questo rhum.
