The surprise here is a coastal, saline edge running under the fresh sugarcane — several tasters pick up sea-spray salt and a faint iodine note alongside lemon, flowers and a bit of pepper. It's a Martinique white agricole that many find easy to drink neat after a few minutes in the glass, though a couple felt the reduction to 45% smoothed away some of the vigor.

#5170 26.03.2025 Running some samples at home. Nose Fresh, fruity, light floral, citrus, spice, light anise, vegetal, light herbal. Palate Oily, fresh, balanced, light floral, cinnamon, light anise, citrus, light grass, faint iodine, light salt. Finish Medium to long, fresh, oily, citrus, light herbal, light licorice, naturally sweet. Empty glass Light medicinal, light grass, citrus, light olive, sugarcane.

No real surprise with this white. Sugarcane, citrus. A floral side. It's good but lacks vigor due to the reduction. There has to be something for every palate but here the rum loses interest in my opinion.

A very smooth white agricultural rum. A lovely agricultural freshness perfumes the nostrils, with earthy, herbaceous and vegetal notes, accompanied by citrus fruits (lemon) that round out the angles. A hint of salt underscores the subtlety of the nose. The attack on the palate is ample, supple and pleasant. Citrus and dried fruit dominate the palate, leaving sugarcane and its vegetal notes more in the background. Round, fresh and very well structured. The finish, of decent length, is surprisingly warm, dry and slightly spicy. Vegetal and earthy flavors come back to the fore, in the face of citrus. A very fine cuvée that will delight all Ti Punch lovers.

A good agricole, easy to drink and not demanding at all. On the nose, citrus dominates, especially lemon. You can also taste it on the palate: citrus, flowers, pepper and a very slight salty note. Medium finish. Good but I think the distillation stripped a lot from this rum.

Can be drunk well pure, lifts the Ti Punch to another level. You should give the rhum about 15 minutes in the glass time.

Less juicy/sweet than the Cuvee de la Montagne. But a bit stronger, slightly peppery, spicy notes. Lasts a bit longer and due to the spicier finish is not quite as refreshing. A bit heavier. With time and air, the spicy notes also become stronger on the nose.

Very pleasant nose, sweet flowers, nectar, sugarcane on the palate paired with spices, a hint of anise. Peppery finish, but not biting. Overall round and harmonious. So far my best white rum.

A gem! €12.50 at the distillery and unbeatable as a white agricole rum. Very nice iodized and saline freshness with a beautiful balance on the palate, no burning alcohol. Top!
