Expect gingerbread, roasted notes, chocolate and burnt sugar, with a pepper kick and a light tart cassis-and-dark-chocolate edge on the finish. At 62.1% the alcohol sits surprisingly well integrated. One reviewer even called it Botucal "on steroids (and without sugar)."

A see exciting, clearly complex and more intense Belize or as a friend says "tastier" than other representatives from Belize! geil!beautiful Eigensüße, abgefahrene Florale note like elder (?!) and in addition all these overcooked fruits and spices like fruit bread with a subtle freshness and toastiness, very very cool...🤤😍🇧🇿what's really freaky is the slight bitter and fresh acidity in the finish, bit like cassis and dark chocolate.... really good!

12.03.2021 Happy tasting at a bygone bar. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Intense, wood, roasted, light caramel, apple, light nuts, faint chocolate. Palate Medium intense, warm, wood, light roasted, light coconut, spice, nuts, light caramel, dried fruit. Finish Medium to long, round, warm, fruits, spice, light nuts, coconut.

Another Belize... also kind of good, tasty, a very dark, spicy flavor. But again, I'm missing something without being able to put my finger on it. Maybe Belize is not my country? Still, a good bottling, which for me has something of Botucal on steroids (and without sugar).

Nose: first I get red wine with a slight acidity. Very fruity and lightly floral. The fruit leans more towards cherry with peach, also a typical slight hint of coconut, but really just a little. It feels a bit smoky and leathery and there is a slight menthol note coming through. Palate: full-bodied, slightly bitter and sweetish. The fruit feels more tart and is not so clear, cherry with unripe peach and also somewhat tropical. Along with leather and slightly roasted-spicy. Towards the end a slight violet-licorice note comes through and it heads towards black tea... More complex than expected. More interesting on the palate than on the nose. The alcohol is quite well integrated.

On the nose caramel, chocolate, burnt sugar, cinnamon, finely sweetish. Light woody notes. In the mouth strong, fruity, slight sweetness, chocolaty creamy, reminds me of Baileys but also roasted notes and wood. Medium finish with chocolate and pepper. Easy drinking!

Compared to his 11 year old brother an incredible difference, really cool Belize. Alcohol perfectly integrated. Really peppery on the palate and in the finish, but really positive. Really tasty, recommended purchase!
