A rum tasted in a bar and the bottle is in its last quarter. On the nose, green apple and pear but also some not quite clean cask notes. A pity! A mouth with balanced alcohol and still pome fruits and wood. The rum fills the mouth in a very pleasant way! The finish is short and you can clearly feel the menthol that ends this beautiful experience. The empty glass exhales problematic cask flavors.

Nose that reminds of another alcohol, grappa or cognac. There is also apple and a bit of caramel. It's rather lively. On the palate it's alcoholic, you can feel a bit of fresh cane and young wooden cask. Actually, the aroma of plank juice predominates a bit too much. The balance is not good, I find the alcohol poorly integrated. The finish is alcoholic, and there's a taste of hydrogen peroxide that remains in the mouth, not very pleasant.

I find it too young and I can't find the classic markers of La Favorite except at the very end of the palate with this little taste of prune and wood. It's still good but compared to the price, it's too high.

You can feel the youth of the rum, on the cane, black pepper, green apple, a slight woodiness. Nice liveliness.
