Hans Reisetbauers Destillerie 4 X 50 R.N.P Superior Rum
An Austrian column-still rum that drinks more like a fruit brandy than a Caribbean pour — that "Obstler" fruitiness is the first thing most tasters notice. Expect berries, milk chocolate and a little allspice over a soft, thin body. One member finds it "semi-sweet" with a syrupy edge; another likes how slowly it opens. Pleasant nose, but the palate stays light and the finish is short.

Pleasant nose, but all the rest of this rum is just disappointing. In mouth very thin, soft… diluted for sure… starting with a strange fruit schnaps note, but shows up then some various notes like brown sugar, vegetal notes and milk chocolate. The finish is quite short and soft…

Very good. Unfortunately the last rum tested for today. Can convince again for a mid-price rum :) Too bad that was it for today. This rum was a very good finish. Tastes slightly fruity, completely ok.

Read full review →Sehr fruchtig mit einem Obstleraroma gepaart mit einer schönen Würze. Komplex aber gleichzeitig feingliedrig und mild. Braucht sehr lange im Glas bis er alle Aromen öffnet.
