I don't like this Artesano quite so much. A little smoky on the nose but also a slight sweetness detectable. In taste, in my opinion, a bit of orange can be detected and otherwise rather fruity.

If you like smoke with rum, a real recommendation. You can still quite well recognize the base material. Nice Panama sweetness paired with yellow fruits, especially peach. All in all, the rum becomes woodier and spicier from smell to finish. Which I find very successful. For me a nice rum to enjoy if you like a bit of maritime smoke. Nose 8.0 Taste 7.9 Finish 7.7

On the nose, musty-peaty notes with some tropical fruits. A bit like a damp cigar on a Caribbean beach. On the palate, smoke, peat, and earthy notes dominate, but they are very nicely integrated and provide a pleasant sweetness. Although I'm neither a fan of smoky whiskeys and the like nor of Panama rum in general, I like this bottling relatively well!
