Opinions here run cool rather than warm. A few tasters find it pleasantly smooth with orange peel on the finish, but more people call out a spirity, hot edge and a flat, "not memorable" middle. Very generic rum.

Honestly not impressed. I think this would be better in a mixer that relies on sweetness to reduce the alcoholic taste of the rum. I barely could smell much aside from the alcohol. After you deal with the harsh taste of alcohol and spice, there is not much left to savour. Do not recommend this rum for casual tasting or sipping.

I didn't find this version anywhere at first, until I discovered via Canuto rum's Instagram that it has yet to be released soon. So 24 days of rum brings with it a first! The taste reminds me of other XOs I've already tasted (e.g., Mount Gay, Esclavo or Plantation), but I rate all three a bit higher and more refined than this one. The flavor profile compared to the others is a bit more flattened and less complex, but at the same time less sweet which is not bad at all. Pleasant, but not exceptional.
