Good, rather dry, astringent Worthy Park.

Banana and vanilla on the nose, poorly integrated alcohol in the mouth despite the reduction. Banana, vanilla, esters. Ok is in Jamaica, no doubt. Rather short finish with a very slight bitterness.Not unforgettable.

On the nose, no doubt we're in Jamaica with its ripe bananas. You find other exotic fruits (coconut...) as well as a menthol freshness and vanilla. The nose is rather encouraging. On the palate, the attack is alcoholic but remains pleasant. You quickly realize it's a rather young rum. It's less about tropical fruits and more about candied fruits. But you find the Jamaican funky. The finish is quite successful for this type of reduced rum. You keep a nice woodiness in the mouth, spices and all enhanced with eucalyptus.

The ripe bananas are very present on the nose. On the tongue you notice that the rum is still very young and unfortunately the bananas are not so intense. The alcoholic sharpness is clear and goes a bit metallic. A good rum for cocktails but not exciting enough for drinking neat.
