27.03.2021 A nice Velier tasting thanks to my friend Cheng from Singapore. Notes Medium dark in colour. Nose Fresh, balanced, light wood, banana, light earthy, spice. Palate Round, fresh, light wood, fruity, banana, faint citrus, light chocolate, medium spicy. Finish Medium long, fresh, fruity, berries, light chocolate, spice, light vegetal.

Smooth at the beginning, leaves a slight astringency in the mouth. So much glue on the finish! A droplet of water really helps with this one.

... Hampden, a legendary Jamaican distiller that produces rum as well as alcohol for perfume. In all the rums from this distillery you will taste wild esters, after which your whole organism will soak up the smell of golden tropical fruits - mango, papaya, pineapple, peach. One of the "must try before you die" rums
