This Guadeloupe agricole blanc leans peppery, spicy and strong at 50%, with fresh cane, lime and an earthy, almost metallic edge some tasters like less than others. An Agricole Blanc with sting. It’s definitely very OK, but doesn’t reach the level of Montebello Blanc or Bielle Blanc. It was perfect in a White ‘N’ Stormy and I think it’s probably perfect in a Mojito.

La Route des Rhums Advent Calendar 2023 No. 4. Another white Agricole. But I like those. Nice fruity and earthy nose. On the palate again fruits and especially Agricole. Also sugarcane, warm and grassy. Top.

A fairly strong agricole rum from Guadeloupe, rather entry-level, it lacks some fruity notes to make it a good rum but it is very good as a base for a cocktail or a no-frills ti-punch.

A basic white for cocktails, which can still have its interest in ti punch even if the earthy notes are not very well integrated and overall it's a round product that fades quickly. Meh.

The quality-price ratio of this rum is excellent. 20€ per liter for a rum with a strong cane presence, pepper, spices, lemon, that's cool. I find it seriously lacking freshness to make it a great rum. For a no-frills ti-punch, it's very good.

Very earthy to even metallic notes leaning towards a pure pot still rum but still keeping a classic agricole framework. I find that the cane doesn't fully express itself like on other Guadeloupe agricoles I'm used to. There's also a slight iodine and pepper side. Quality product but on the lower average compared to other basic whites from Guadeloupe.

Avant 2022. Au nez il n'est pas déplaisant, impression très classique de blanc basique, de la canne fraîche et beaucoup de citron. En bouche très décevant sur la terre, l'amertume, on s'empresse d'y jeter un zeste pour trouver un intérêt à le finir. Pour du ti'punch basique. Déçu de la sélection de Reimonenq pour ce calendrier de l'avent, on s'attend davantage à des rhums de dégustation qu'aux blancs basiques des distilleries.
