The nose is very fresh with notes of furniture wood, cooked pears (maybe even apples), ripe red fruits (plums, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries), flowers, petricore, young tobacco and sweet cane. Very good indeed. On the palate noble wood, fruits, tobacco, honey syrup in the background, flowers and charred spices on the finish. It reminds me vaguely of the 3R profile (which makes me think that they also often use canne bleue). The finish, unfortunately, is very short and the white version remains better with a more herbaceous and less sweetened touch.

A young rum trying to tap the potential of the famous single-varietal white rum in aging. The nose shows a fresh vegetal and floral character, sugarcane, some spices and leans towards young wood and a slightly syrupy side. This sweet side is found on the palate, with notes of dried fruits and vegetal tones. The finish is short and focused on the same aromas. A fresh and pleasant rum that would work well during summer evenings.

#5943 09.11.2025 Having an online tasting with old friends covering, Denmark, Singapore, New Zealand and China. Hopefully we will all meet up in the beginning of the new year. This was the rum with the best price to quality in my mind. A very cheap easy sipper with nice sugarcane, chocolate and earthy notes.

It's rather well made. It's even good. Lots of sweetness on the palate, medium/long length. Nice presence of spices.
