Double cask for double pleasure Almost too easy to drink, but with some subtleties. Given the price, it scores an 8! A pretty standard pure juice rum. Strong presence of citrus. The double maturation is noticeable. A clear sensation of fruit brandy and a lot of roundness. Easy to drink and quite pleasant. Decent.

A perfect Bologne for aperitif. Gourmand notes of chocolates, caramel, fruit and spices. You feel more the cognac side than bourbon.

Bologne never disappoints. This rhum is very good to sip with a little of thick juice like mango or banana. Even neat it has a little taste of caramel. For about 20e in France's grocery, it really is a good deal.

Good value for money for this Bologne with the cognac peculiarity. Very good nose slightly on caramel, more discreet on the palate with woodiness and a fairly pleasant medium length. Pleasant without being very complex. So why not with chocolate or a dessert.

Wow! If you don't see it, you wouldn't know it's Bologne rum! The double maturation seriously changes things a lot. Personally, I love it! If you like cognac and rum, this drink is made for you! Great value for money too. In short, a bottle you absolutely have to have in your collection.

The intensity and aromatic richness is average, not unpleasant but with a slight hint of disappointment because the nose is promising. The finish is just average, it lacks degrees to hope for better.
