I got a sample of this rum from a friend and I wasn't disappointed. It belongs up with the best of the Clements I have sampled so far. The nose starts off very intense, so it needs to rest after which it's still intense, but the ABV burn in the nose dissipates. The Agricole flavours are there with grass and nice oak. Fruity with vanilla and a hint of leather The palate is also intense and dry, but in a very nice way. Oak and spices mix very well with fruit and nuts. The finish is long and dry with oak, spices and fruit.

04-07-2026 - Rate 9.0 Have tasted all of the Clément rare cask bottles. This one bottles for Romhatten are in my top 5 of Clèment rare casks. Not the best but not bad at all. Not all Romhatten bottles are for me, but this one is just right 😉

Great Clement! Many dark ripe barrel aromas with chocolate and wood. Only in the finish slightly grassy notes (which are not really my favorite).

Wow, this really smells and tastes like pulverised cocoa. It is really intense. And although I like this overwhelming aspect, it falls rather short on all other flavours. I really want to like it more...
