Von Stefan Penninger V. (ja, die Penningers machen die Stefans in Batches) erwarte ich keinerlei Ausfälle beim Brennen - und hier auch nicht beim Blenden. Die Nase ist fruchtig, wuchtig und estrig. Zumindest für die recht deutsch angesetzten 42%. Das setzt sich dann auch im Mund fort. Fokus in der Mischung klar auf schwere Noten - trotzdem schafft man die Grätsche den deutschen Gaumen nicht zu vergraulen. Klasse für das was er ist!

Ja so ist das halt. Ein ganz normaler Rum von Martinique. Schmeckt wie die anderen auch. Bißchen Zitrone und Holz uns das wars. Das beschreibt meinen Eindruck eigentlich ganz gut. Gute Nacht Düsseldorf

Hatte den im Urlaub entdeckt und nicht viel erwartet; um so größer war die Überraschung. Wirklich gelungener Blend der einen von anfänglicher süßer über Würze bis zu feinen Esternoten führt.

Sehr unauffällige Nase, bisschen Ester und Alkohol. Im Geschmack überwiegend scharf, von den weiteren Aromen sehr dünn. Alkohol schlecht eingebunden. Bisschen Ester, bisschen Ananas. An Weihnachten um die Schwiegermutter aus dem Haus zu ekeln…

Irgendwie nicht schlecht aber eben überhaupt nichts besonderes. Extrem verwässert und alle Geschmacksnuancen abgeschwächt. Als Anfänger Rum aber durchaus zu gebrauchen.

Da ich Penninger so ein schlechtes Produkt nicht zugetraut habe, habe ich nachgetestet, diesmal keine Probe, sondern ein wenig aus einer Flasche: Besser, immer noch nicht mein Geschmack, immer noch zu süß, aber wenigstens trinkbar und sicher etwas für Baroko-Fans. Nachfolgend meine alte Einschätzung: 3.4 Sorry, aber für mich war es alkoholisches Zuckersirup. Minimal waren Gewürze/Kräuter zu erahnen

Naja pur geht er nicht wirklich. Nettes Experiment was hier der junge Penninger versucht hat. Vielleicht wäre es mit ein bißchen mehr ABV besser gelungen. Als Mixer funktioniert er doch auch nur bedingt. Glaube er sollte hier lieber bei seinen Schnäpsen bleiben, die wirklich lecker sind.
