Habe den Rum zuerst in der Masterclass auf dem GRF probiert und jetzt erneut im RumX Tasting. Der Eindruck aus beiden Tastings ist sehr konsistent. Es ist ein leichter, einfacher Rum , aber als solcher für mich einer der besten in der Kategorie. Er bringt viel mehr Aroma mit als die weißen spanischen Mixer, ist aber nicht so brachial wie die Jamaikaner. Für mich geht der Rum so wie er ist schon fast als Aperitif durch. Mit etwas Säure oder Wermut lassen sich bestimmt hervorragende Drinks mixen. Aromatisch geht der Rum all-in für die Banane, dazu noch etwas reife gelbe Früchte wie Honigmelone. Daneben eine Vanille aus der Eiche, dazu eine schöne Mineralik, die im Mund noch deutlicher zum Tragen kommt. Mir gefällt er sehr gut und ich frage mich, warum ich nicht längst eihe Flasche im Schrank habe.

Savanna Masterclass for RumX 2024. A nose dominated by banana and vanilla. A little vegetal (mint?), and sweet. The first palate is acqueous, with a hint of dilution. The banana is very present. The finish is short, with freshness, a slight menthol and a slight woodiness that was barely perceptible before. An unpretentious but pleasant rum to drink.

RumX Savanna Masterclass 12.7. Gestartet mit dem Metis das erste Mal im Glas erinnert er mich stark an den Weißen charrette den ich mal im französischen Supermarkt erworben habe. Da war der Einfluss sehr deutlich. In der Nase hier etwas Zitrusfrucht und je länger das Glas steht desto mehr Anis kommt zum Vorschein. Am Gaumen dann mehr Frucht etwas Banane, Orange und eine angenehm leichte Würze. Dabei schön rund. Definitiv ein Kandidat für die Cocktailbar wo er wohl auch für gedacht ist.

Savanna Masterclass for RumX July 2024: Vergleichsweise leichter Rum für einen Savanna, dem es trotz der reduzierten Trinkstärke nicht an Ausdrucksstärke fehlt. Früchte, etwas vergorene Aromen, am Gaumen flankiert von etwas Jod/Mineralik. Lecker, spannende Grundlage für ausdrucksstarke Cocktails.

#4730 20.05.2024 Relaxing at home with a few samples. Nose Light, fruity, fresh, light floral, faint chocolate. Palate Light, fruity, pineapple, light floral, faint chocolate, faint wood, spices. Finish Short to medium, light, fresh, fruity, light citrus, faint wood, faint chocolate. The empty glass has stronger chocolate notes as well as vanilla and dried fruits.

J'ai eu la chance de participer à une dégustation Rumx avec Samuel PITARCH Voila mes nouvelles notes de dégustation ! > Nez sur les fruits, la banane et la mirabelle > Bouche encore une fois sur les fruits, peut être avec un petit anis en plus, ou de l'amande ? > Finale avec une pointe d'alcool, de bois, et de fruits, pour ma part. Une entrée de gamme pas chère et facile à boire. > A tester dans un Daiquiri ou avec un tonic !

Gar nicht so schlecht. Erinnert mich ein wenig an die weißen Grogues von den Kap Verden. Ist recht alkoholisch in der Nase, aber auch Zitrusfrüchte und Zuckerrohr sind zu erkennen. Am Gaumen dann überwiegend Zitrusfrüchte und Banane. Mit Coke top.

Nice, fruity sipper. Full of bananas and bright fruits on the nose, followed by vanilla & doughy notes on the palate. Rather gentle, probably a good mixer. A bit boring for solo drinking, but definitely not bad.

Probiert in der RumX-Masterclass: Überraschender Rum, da fast klar für sein Alter (5 Jahre?). Wird wohl in sehr großen Fässern (Barrels and Vasts) gelagert. Ansonsten aber sehr leicht, guter Einsteiger in die Savanna-Welt!

RumX Masterclass Savanna Ein relativ leichter Savanna, positiv auf jedenfall der Bananen Flawer und Richtung Aprikosen, des hat mir gut gefallen. Abgang ist kurz und leicht mit angenehmer süße. Für wenig Geld ok, aber zum Genießen eher nicht so geeignet.

Da ich die Savanna Masterclass gestern verpasst habe, wirds heute nachgeholt. Ich habe keine Erwartungen - aber kann auch nicht meckern. Sowohl in der Nase als auch am Gaumen eigentlich ganz gefällig. Irgendwie lande ich dann allerdings immer beim Apfel. Ingesamt außerdem zu dünn.
