Belize rum as I love it! Absolutely harmonious, round, and perfectly integrated alcohol. Endless grilled pineapple with some barrel notes, coconut, caramel candy, and cacao nibs. Also a bit of kumquat marmalade and lemon zest. Very very tasty!

Nose: first sharp alcoholic, then sweet-fruity-floral. Juicy flat peaches and sweet apricots paired with a potpourri of tropical fruits and a fine hint of coconut. Seems very sweet with honey, caramel and cream toffee. Also has something of fresh cookie dough. A slight woody note comes at the back. Palate: also fruity-floral here, the alcohol is noticeable but quite well integrated, but initially astringent and slightly bitter. Again peach and apricot but also slightly perfumed. At the back it goes towards fruit bread with fresh coconut flakes. A pretty good Belize, which also brings a lot thanks to the high ABV.

Actually very tasty, many dark notes and a full basket of tropical fruits. However, very sharp in the mouth, the alcohol is not nicely integrated and generally not a pleasant mouthfeel. A shame, the rum loses a lot of potential because of this.
