Ein fruchtiger und süßer Geruch. Auch der Geschmack ist fruchtig, leicht süß, etwas Karamell. Der Nachklang ist mild und recht lange. Ein guter Rum für den Preis.

This rum is a blend of 4 rums (thus it's name 4 Ports) from Jamaica, Trinidad, Barbados and Guayana aged from 3-5 years and it is Guayana which is most prominent in the smell as well as taste, you cannot confuse it with anything else. I love the nosing of this rum. You can smell the pineapple in the background which struck me the most. The rum is too young which you can tell by its harshness in taste but overall it is really interesting piece. Considering Navy rums though, I would prefer Black Tot with its more prominent, balanced and rounded taste instead of this one.
