Oxenham Craft Distillery Oaks & Âmes VSOP
Reviews land in friendly-but-mild territory: people call it balanced and a little different, with chamomile-tea and grass on the nose and spice, coconut and dried banana on the palate. Several tasters point to it as an easy entry into cane-juice rum. The recurring gripe is a watery mid-palate — one member found it "zu wässrig," thin where you'd want more grip.

How does Oxenham Craft Distillery Oaks & Âmes VSOP taste?
Aggregated from 36 community reviews.
Mild, floral cane-juice rum for beginners Well-liked as a gentle, slightly floral agricole-style sipper and a good first step into cane-juice rum. A few tasters find the palate too thin and watery.

Intense mix of lime and orange on the nose. Unfortunately too watery on the palate. Very suitable in an Old Fashioned.

And the next rum from Sturm Eck on Baltrum. A very solid rum from Mauritius. Very fruity on the nose and also on the palate... I can highly recommend this rum grade for beginners.
