It’s of course quite sweet as most of the rum from Dom.Rep., but the rather high ABV balances the sweetness quite well. It’s produced by Brands For Fans and it’s created together with the band. It contains 8 - 15yo rum. The name is taken from the song “Detroit Rock City”, from the “Destroyer” album which has an artwork like the label on the bottle. The aroma in nose is quite weak, but in front of the mouth and at the palate it tastes a lot as well as during the rather long finish.

Actually, I'm not a fan of merchandise stuff. But this one isn't bad at all. Aromas of chocolate, dried fruits, vanilla, a bit of licorice. Light sweetness. Short finish. Overall, a pleasant sipper.
