7,1:On the nose, sugarcane hints, strong roasted wood notes with cocoa, confectionery, leather, spicy with baking spices, coconut, raisins, orange peel, winterly, bump into our nosetrils. On aeration, various fruits arise, like apple, melon, ripe banana, chocolate and some slightly artificial candies, the rum becomes a bit alcoholic. 5,9:On the palate, the attack is weak, thin, synthetic, alcoholic, still winterly with various roasted wood notes like confectionery, caramel, dark chocolate, nutty and spicy with baking spices, fruity with melon, litchi, dried fruits, medicinal, some artificial candies also arise. 5,5:The finish is short, soapy, dry, woody and spicy, synthetic, harsh, bitter, acidic, a bit fruity.

#7334 19.09.2026 Relaxing with a few extra samples while watching the new season of The Witcher. This rum wasn't really me but it did well in a cola and the price is good. Roasted woody profile with fruits, chocolate, caramel spice, sugarcane, smoke, wine, molasses, ester and a velvety dry palate.

A very fruity rum that somehow reminds me of melon. However, also somehow artificial and spritzy. I also somehow taste a note of perfume or soap. Not my taste at all.

Bottle brought back from the Seychelles in 2016. Tasted only today, 6 years later :) On the nose, I'm lost. A scent I can't quite identify fills my nose. I detect the smell of fruit liqueur (prune?), citrus, orange zest, candy? It's fruity, sweet and inviting. On the palate, it's immediately very sweet. Almost liqueur-like. Sensations of caramel and vanilla are very present. The fruit is very present, but I can't identify it. Peppery finish. No length on the palate and no noticeable evolution of the rum over time. Astonishing. Very atypical profile for me. Makes you wonder if the rum has been sweetened and flavored. But that doesn't seem to be the case. Glad to have been able to test it so long afterwards.

Not great, disappointed by Takamaka which had made a great impression on me until now, but oh well. In summary, my tasting notes: On the nose: Sugar cane, alcoholic On the palate: Caramel. And that's all.
