В чистому вигляді не сподобався, занадто жорсткий, не зважаючи на 37,5%. З додаванням льоду ситуація виглядає трішки краще. В коктейлях теж виглядає блідо, нічого особливо. Краще брати його "старшого брата" Muy Viejo, який коштує однаково з цим ромом, але смакує мякше й приємніше.
