A solid Hampden, more on the round and pleasing side, which is quite good for now. However, it is not necessarily what I expect from Hampden. Also, this is my first Hampden of the mark

21.02.2020 A small private event where we borrowed the basement bar area for a private tasting and also had a go at their food. Notes. Light in colour. Nose Intense, wood, fruity, overripe, ester, polish, faint coffee. Palate Oily, wood, fruity, pineapple, varnish, anise, ester. Finish Long and warm, wood, fruity, ester, light chocolate.

Nose: Ester and varnish notes paired with wonderful fruit aromas of tropical fruits. Palate: Intense spice complementing the nose and rusty and meaty flavors. The rum neatly coats the palate with fur and is full-bodied.Finish: Spicy, esters, smoke flavors.Conclusion: This is why you appreciate Hampden.
