A rum with a pleasant nose, but you still have to push it pretty hard to get to the bottom of it, and even half an hour in the glass and a drop of water can't really get it off the ground. Still, I could barely make out chalk, rust, white peach, caramel, traces of tobacco and wood. On the palate, it's very easy-drinking, with vanilla, caramel and barrel notes. Medium finish. A Belize, my first, which makes me want to discover others.

On the nose you can clearly sense the cognac cask. On the palate coconut milk, caramel, ripe fruit, all wrapped by the cognac cask character. Nice finish, with a slightly sweet impression. A beautiful product.

The nose is rich and hearty. Distinct notes of roasted coconut, wood, cacao and coffee. Upon tasting, creamy mouth of milk chocolate, coffee and nuts. Pastry heartiness and some smoky undertones. Alcohol feels well integrated but you might want to give it some time in the glass. I like to pour it and forget about it for an hour. The first time I tasted it, I was tasting other rums, and putting my nose back in the empty glass is what finally convinced me to walk away with a bottle.
