Ron Zacapa Solera Centenario Ambar
Anyone who wants an easy everyday Zacapa without the usual sugar bomb will get along with this one. Members describe vanilla, a little oak, mild spice and a citrus lift, drinking drier and less sweet than you'd expect from the range. A short bit of alcohol heat shows up early from the younger age, then settles. Pleasant and round, if not deep.

Easy, dryish everyday Zacapa, not much depth Most find it a rounded, easygoing daily pour — less sweet than other Zacapas. A few call it plain or a bit thin, and fans of the 23 tend to prefer that one.

Review by Fiete Heinrich

Nice everyday rum, easy to drink is the motto here. Spicy, vanilla and a little woody, rather dry, hardly sweet, a little fruit. Pleasant spiciness, but not tangy. Simply round, mild. Nothing extraordinary, but still quite tasty. I didn't pay 30 euros for the liter bottle in Duty Free, so the price/performance ratio is great. Of course, it doesn't come close to the 23-year-old, but at a reasonable price you can confidently strike.

Review by Daniel
Fruity, fresh, similar to the Limitada. This impression is confirmed on the palate by the citrus component. Its shorter storage time is noticeable due to its clear alcohol presence at the beginning, but this quickly fades.
Review by Portman
Pleasantly lightly sweetened for a Zacapa. Nice vanilla, a little wood and slightly spicy. A good all-rounder for the price!

Simple rum, bit boring, rum for the masses.
