Sipped neat, this 14-year Clarendon pot still leans fruity — banana, mango, yellow fruits — with roasted wood and a clear varnish note underneath. The catch most tasters agree on: the 55.5% alcohol isn't fully tucked in, so it can read thin and a touch hot. Several found it shines more after air, or stretched into cola.

Very interesting Clarendon on the nose, which unfortunately diminishes in quality on the palate and finish. Various fruits, wood, spices and light esters on the nose. The palate is dominated by varnish, with the same aromas as in the nose, but the composition doesn't suit me. On the finish, the rum seems a little burnt.

I don't think it's bad at all. On the nose, we have predominantly yellow fruits such as banana and mango. It remains fruity on the palate, but some young wood and herbs can still be detected.

A good average Clarendon with good PLV! He combines all the classic flavors, only the alcohol is not perfectly integrated! Thus, it suppresses the full development of its quite good assets

#4193 I'd say price to quality is very good on this release. Intense on the nose after resting but in good way. Fruity with some varnksh/polish in the back. Lightly dry on the palate with a nice roasted note. Draws nice curtains in the glass and the empty glass has some light herbal notes as well as some ginger. A big thank you to Thunderbird for this sample swap 😊

Thin and alcoholic. Some funk/ fruit but really overpowered by the poorly integrated alcohol. I don’t enjoy this neat. It is passable as a mixer with Pepsi max, but it doesn’t shine here either. Oh well, can’t win them all!
