Foursquare The Real McCoy Prohibition Tradition
The surprise here is coconut — several tasters call out "verboten gute Kokosnuss," alongside the usual Foursquare vanilla, oak and orange peel. At 50% the alcohol goes down easy, with burnt sugar and a light smoky-tobacco edge. A brief glue note on the nose blows off with air. One or two find it leans a touch too woody and bitter for their taste.

Aggregated from 45 community reviews.
Coconut-and-oak Foursquare at a well-judged 50% Most tasters call this the best McCoy yet — round, sweet-woody Foursquare with coconut and orange. The catch: a few find it a bit too oaky and dry.

Review by Tim
Delicious rum from the house of Foursquare with a round and pleasant nose. In the mouth, a clearly perceptible sweetness mixes elegantly with a smoky tobacco notes, which is why this rum is not overly dry and spicy. Also on the finish remains something smoky, even if caramel and co dominate.
Review by Sventrinkt
Not quite my taste, it's a little too woody for me. Nevertheless, a really good rum at a high level. The alcohol is well integrated, the complexity is fun and gives Raul something to discover. You should definitely try it in peace, because it develops when it breathes a little.

The higher ABV improves the overall profile and I like it lot. Sweet and fruity with nice spicy palate and a light smoky note. Nice warm palate and a wonderful nose in the empty glass.
Review by Christoph
Forbidden good coconut. The longer the rum is in the glass, the more fades the glue note that is there at the beginning.
Review by MoMcGurk
This was just a nice rum. Strong oak flavor. Sweet. Little after burn. When mixed, the oak scent comes out and it’s an overall pleasant drinking experience.

A little too woody and bitter / sour for my taste. But from McCoy probably the most exciting to date mMn!

Alcohol very mild, very round, dark chocolate

Great coconut-heavy nose, the taste comes for me but not ran
