A solid, easygoing young agricole: mild grassiness, citrus brightness and noticeable oak, with balanced sweetness and a medium, slightly bitter finish. Reliable everyday sipper or mixer for many users.

How does Rum Nation Ilha da Madeira 2015 taste?
Easygoing, oak-forward young agricole
If you’re moving from molasses rums toward agricole, this is an easy bridge: some grass and citrus are there, but wrapped in soft sweetness and familiar oak.
Those wanting intense funk, big complexity, or very long finishes; also not ideal if you dislike light bitterness or oak-driven dryness.

On The Rocks: On the nose there is a spice, fruit, citrus and oak mixture but does not present like a traditional Agricole. Taste reveals an initial sweeter taste with an immediate hit of spice and oak. Additional sips reveal a mild fresh cut grass Agricole note. Finish is medium length with a mild citrus and sweetness slowly fading away with a slight bitterness. Mixed Pepsi Zero: On the nose there is a sweetness with underlying citrus. Taste is a bright sweetness with pleasant citrus notes. Finish is short with sweetness fading away. This is actually a reasonable mixer and can be enjoyed mixed as well.

Ein sehr schöner Rum. Die Holznote überwiegt und er kommt trocken rüber.
