The best Agricole I've ever had!!!Very, very fine, elegant, as if from a single mold, complex. Insanely beautiful, a pleasure.wood maturity,as only Neisson can. Cedar, dried fruit, tobacco, earth, pepper...I'm really looking forward to the successor from 2005!

Great. The Neisson profile is in top form: Nutty, woody sweetness, well-balanced sweetness - a delight. An absolutely well-rounded taste, which never lacks expressiveness despite the lower alcohol content. An excellent rum that is great fun to drink.

An intoxicating nose! Clearly recognizable as Agricole but with so much more! Sweet and fruity, nutty etc. No disturbing alcoholic sharpness, everything in perfect balance! Just as excellent on the palate. This is an agricole that convinces me. Unfortunately, Neisson's cask strength bottlings are anything but cheap.

I just love these older Neisson releases because they push the bar in quality. The only problem is the price tag. They are highly priced but also really good. A fruity well rounded release with nice spices and wood. ABV is really well integrated and the overall balance is great. Would have loved a higher ABV. Draws really nice curtains in the glass and the empty glass is wonderfully fruity with some chocolate and light smoke.

A very complex nose, in a profile more dark than fruity. With time, this nose turns out to be very greedy. The mouth surprises us with a certain freshness that perfectly balances the greedy side. A great Neisson.

Vive neisson ❤ Deuxième dégustation après quelques mois. C’est très élégant et fin sur les marqueurs classiques neisson. Vanille épices et un boisé d’une belle élégance. J’aurai aimé quelques degrés en plus ou une finale plus longue.

Don't get me wrong here, this is a very good rum. However, I'm a bit disapointed because there is not that much of a big gap between this one and 12 years old 70th Velier. I was expecting more from this release. I hope, 18, 19 and 21 years old are better 🤞

Au premier nez, les agrumes confites arrivent très rapidement. Je passe de l'orange amère, au kumkat puis une note de pamplemousse passe par là en allant chercher un peu plus loin la narine au fond du verre. Puis viennent les senteurs de cannelle, de miel et de fruits confits, tel un cake de Noël. Le boisé est subtil et l'alcool discret. Après la première gorgée, le deuxième nez sera caractérisé par l'opposition suivante ; d'un côté la saumure de l'olive verte qui tend vers une légère odeur de colle à maquette, de l'autre une combinaison acidulée de confiture mangue/passion! Quel nez!!! La bouche débute sur un lit de caramel vanillé et légèrement sucré. Une note de cola passe par là. Rapidement, la torréfaction apparait sous forme de noisettes grillées (noix ?) et d'un boisé plus charpenté. Le pur jus de canne s'exprime quant à lui dans un complexe d'épices douces, poivre blanc en dominance et d'une fraîcheur très agréable. la finale est moyennement longue, apaisante, herbacée, sur le marc de café et l'amertume du chocolat noir. Je sent la boite à cigare jeune. La paume chaude sur le verre vide libère le boisé réel du fût sous la forme d'une dégradation tropicale de douelles. Le meilleur agricole que j'ai pu déguster jusqu'à maintenant.

Un régal ! Rhum agricole magnifique, un nez envoûtant, très gourmand. En bouche c’est explosif, une petit fraîcheur pour rehausser le tout. Avec une finale très longue et évolutive 👌

Premier verre de la bouteille : Une attaque délicieuse avec un léger piquant poivré typique, puis vient la rondeur avec l'onctuosité fraîche. Du tabac en plus en finale. Un délice !!! A peine plus de watts ça aurait été une pure merveille.

On touche ici L’excellence du savoir faire français dans les spiritueux. Un nez sur un caramel magique associant des notes de fruits à coques de la vanille de la torréfaction et un soupçon d’agrumes. Et Une bouche qui est une caresse pour le palais avec les arômes qu’on avait au nez plus une touche de sel, on pourra regretter sa longueur moyenne mais quel moment… Neisson tape encore une fois très très haut avec une concentration en bouche incroyable! Apres ce genre de dégustation des fois je me dis que je n’aime pas le rhum mais j’aime simplement Neisson !!
