Beautiful aromatic palette, overripe fruits, mint, red fruits. Superb nose, explosion in mouth and beautiful length. Very well integrated alcohol.
Review by Rowald Sweet Empire
A powerhouse. Fermented fruits (Blueberries/Cassis), malty, funky, a bit of diesel. Loads of layers but also quite heavy. Intense. Considered as best rum from Cadenhead in 2020. Truth! I need another bottle. Crazy good.

Deep and full of flavour. Amazing rum

Surprise for me. I did not expect too much but this is excellent if you want complex and heavy tdl. It is not extrem in any aspect but very creamy and oily, mint and a bit spicy. 55% makes it very drinkable.

I liked it a lot. For me very fruity with passion fruit and lychee. Minty in the finish. Alcohol very well integrated. I’m not overly experienced in the TDL spectrum. I can imagine that the origin bottle from my sample has had quite some oxidation. Those things can definitely play their part in this assessment.

Pre-tasting to bridge the time until the sample from the new Nobilis TDL (RX16047) is with me and I can compare the two (despite the different vintages). This one is more of a tart TDL representative. More spicy-bitter than fruity. Also with dirty accents - maybe Caroni hints? The delicious mint comes only at the very end.

Super nice, intense mint note!

A very nice TDL and the alcohol is very well integrated. Fruity with wood and leather. I get a light floral and minty note. Price to quality is very good.
Review by Double Barrel
A harsch start on model glue and bitter wood varnish but it's the fruity side that finally takes the bite! Wonderful minty lychees in the aftertaste.

Minty and spicy ... nice intense.
Review by Rhum Mirror 🇧🇪
The nose is very fruity (red fruits). On the fermented fruits! Funky and hydrocarbon (how strange, we are not at Caroni's though!). In mouth, we move away from the nose, that does not pull at all on the sweet greediness but we go straight in the bitterness! It is undeniable, the 19 years in barrel have done the job, it is woody and not a little! We find a little vanilla with a wide range of spices. The finish is dry and long. On this finish, there is a note of intense mint! Considered Cadenhead's best bottling of 2020, it is far from my personal tastes in rum, but for my part, this is a pure tasting rum that I enjoyed decanting and discovering.
