I'm even more amazed now. The nose is much richer, deeper and not as young compared to the '82 with 45%. The grassy and earthy aromas have given way to wood, vanilla, glue and leather. On the palate it's similar, also very dry and has a great texture. The finish is long and becomes slightly bitter, which I really like. This rum is probably much older than its vintage brother. 87 points
