Yes, there is a "bite" from the alcohol, but it brings an internal flavor of stewed cherries, burnt fig and cigar box and a citrus note on top that provides a good balance The aftertaste fades slowly and creamy

Trotz 60% Alkoholgehalt immer noch zu süß. Er ist zwar gut eingebunden aber mir fehlt es etwas an Komplexität. In der Nase fruchtig-süsse Karamellnoten, am Gaumen kommen Ananas- und Orangennoten zum Vorschein.

Schöne Kupferfarbe In der Nase direkt der Alkohol und dazu getrocknete Früchte. Der Geschmack ist süß, wahrscheinlich bedingt durch die 60% aber nicht zu süß. Starker alkoholische Geschmack mit Früchten und der typischen Orangennote von Riise. Von den bisherigen Riise der Beste, weil nicht soo extrem künstlich aber immer noch zu süß.

Typical A.H. Riise with lots of sweetness but this time better balanced due to abv. Thanks to 60% abv the sweetness is less intrusive. On the other hand alcohol could be integrated a little bit better as it needs to sit for a while to allow the 👃 to open up otherwise the alcohol kills the other nuances. Definitely one of the better if not the best from riise. It is still fairly sweet but power helps to balance it

A mellow and sweet rum, could be too sweet if it wouldn’t be for the 60% alcohol. The high alcohol content balances it all up, it brings a touch of warmth and some strenght which completes the rum very well with the sweetness. A bit too sweet aftertaste, but far from bad. A great rum for those who likes sweet rums.

The fifth one from the Danish Navy range I've tried in suggestion. The whole series is overly sweet and all about candied orange peel, but this one is a tad more balanced and diverse than the four others.

Vůně: i přes vysoký alkohol je vůně spíše jemná, převažuje balsamico a moka s pomerančovou kůrou. Chuť: alkohol je více přítomen, ale pěkným a integrovaným způsobem, spolu s tóny vůně můžeme cítit ananas a kokosový ořech. Závěr: bohatě krémový s tóny hořké čokolády.
