Cadenhead's Bellevue GMBV 1998
Sipped neat, this is a herbal, minty cane-juice rum with a real spicy kick — cinnamon shows up, along with orange, honey, grass and a light tobacco-and-oak finish. At 57% it's got some heat but stays balanced and drinkable. One taster called it the rum "you imagine cane juice to be," and fans of the 1998 Bellevue releases rate it warmly.

Ein wirklich schöner Vertreter der 98er Bellevues…
Review by Gunnar Böhme "Bauerngaumen" 🤓

Bottle Market Bremen Oktober 2024.

A very nice rum where the price tag is spot on. The nose is sweet with orange, spices, mint and caramel with very light oak. The flavours become more obvious in the empty glass after a few hours. The palate is fruity with spices, honey, grass and herbal notes as well as light oak and tobacco notes. The finish is long with dried fruit and spice with light oak and tobacco.
