A great rum from ADL. I think it’s great that they now release a high congener rum themselves so that we now don’t need to buy overpriced Velier releases. It’s not possible, at least for me, to distinguish the Velier English Harbour from this one. GREAT RUM !!!

Oha schmeckt mir wirklich sehr gut. Man erkennt hier das schöne Geschmäcker vomSchokoladenbrownie und auch eine Cookie Note. Diese ist auch im Geschmack zu erkennen. Ist wirklich sehr gelungen dieser Rum

Sehr schönes preis Leistungsverhältnis. Angenehme süße die überhaupt nicht Künstlich daher kommt. Sehr sauber. Und trotz des hohem Alkoholgehalts angenehm und nicht brennend. Wirklich sehr gut gelungen!

Thanks to Serge for this Sample! Really a great rum! Good complexity, full body, the barrel and alcohol is integrated as well too. The finish is quite long and overwehlemed of dark chocolate I found it similar to some belize bottlings!

Lange gesucht und endlich noch eine Flasche gefunden. Hat sich gelohnt denn die Erinnerung war richtig: Was ein geiles Teil, volle Kanne Frucht und Gewürze. Im Mund dann perfekt eingebundener Alkohol, fruchtig schokoladig mit langem holzigem Abgang. Bin ich froh noch ne halbe Flasche angegriffen zu haben.

Sehr ausgewogen. Am Anfang ein wenig scharf in Nase und Geschmack. Kurz stehen lassen. Danach erinnert er an Rum aus Barbados, aber wenig süß und stattdessen würziger. Der Abgang sehr trocken. Angenehm, aber der Alkohol könnte besser eingebunden sein.

very very tasty successor to the velier Antigua 2012. not quite as complex, but almost more drinkable, much darker & spicier, less fruity and an incredibly cool dark chocolate brownie/cookie note. Very cool stuff, especially for the money!🇦🇬🙏💥❤️👌🏽 If it was a little less biting it could almost get over 9.0 just because of the fair price!

Très bon rum. Cela ressemble pas mal à un foursquare 2007 mais avec moins de solvants. Un petit peu moins complexe en bouche aussi. Mais très gourmand et très agréable.

Tohle je opravdu moc hezké. Pěkná čokoládová vůně, s náznakem esterů a hromadou koření. V chuti dominuje kakao, kokos a opět koření. Zaujme téměř dokonale integrovaný alkohol a přihlédnu-li na poměr cena/výkon je to velká paráda.

The first few times I tried this rum, I couldn't do much with it. Nevertheless, I was amazed by the mild 64%! Characterized by caramel, chocolate, roasted nutty and fruit, you should give it a few minutes and add some water so that the solvent note can evaporate. In the mouth it is initially spicy and bitter chocolatey, but hardly any fruit. Sweet caramel, chocolate and roasted aromas come through in the finish. The fruit, I mean mainly banana and coconut, also reappears. Delicious and very good value for money. Hope to see another release from Antigua -> YES!!!

Despite having no added sugar it’s really really sweet and thick. It would have totally had me a couple of years back when I was into the sweet stuff and by then landed a really high score. After steering away from sweetness I now probably need to rethink the sweetness aspect of it as I still think it’s quite good. Question is should new me or old me give the verdict? Let’s mix em and round up the result…. A few times in on this bottle now and still the same conflicting feelings about it. And even more times in, still the same... And again and again…
