Sehr guter Süßrum, mild, ausgewogen, schöne Würze und Holznoten dabei, lecker, Kaufempfehlung

Riecht nach Vanille, Karamell, Gewürze welcher einer sanften Nuss weichen. Trockenobst. Hat ein wenig etwas von rohem Keksteig. Im Geschmack süß, reifes Obst, Vanille und Karamell, immer wieder kommt eine leichte Zitrus durch. Im Abgang zuerst Frucht, hinten kommen dann die Noten vom Fass. Gewürze, leichte Nuss. Alles in allem ziemlich gefällig. Unkompliziert.

Für einen mittelamerikaner recht gut. Zu der typischen vanille und dem Karamell gesellen sich hier noch schöne Honig und Schokoladentöne. Er htlat auch recht viel holzige Töne. Insgesamt ist es ein sehr runder rum

Une bouteille très décorative. Un nez de thé, un côté assez mielleux avec un côté alcool de fruit. La bouche est très avenante avec un chocolat assez gourmand, du zeste d’orange et un côté tannique, thé vert. La finale est courte avec du mielleux et toujours du thé vert. Un beau rhum mais peut-être lui manque-il un peu de caractère ?

Dann zum "Tagesabschluss" noch einen Rum Nation Panama. Ganz ok zu trinken. Vanille, Schokolade und Holz sind nur ganz schwach in der Nase erkennbar. Am Gaumen wird er dann etwas intensiver, Kokosnuss und Honig sind hier noch zusätzlich erkennbar.

Un rhum hispanique plutôt bien travaillé, le nez surprend de part ses arômes mentholés, atypiques sur ce type de profil. Le reste est plus conventionnel : chocolat, caramel, boisé vanillé et noix de coco forment un profil gourmand et facile d’approche. Le profil en bouche retombe dans les travers des profils hispaniques : le caramel, la texture presque visqueuse qui colle aux dents avec le sucre, les saveurs de noix de coco et de raisins secs et quelques notes rôties viennent avec suavité au palais, mais sans grande surprise. L’alcool n’est pas perceptible dans cet amas de douceur. La finale n’a pas une longueur exceptionnelle mais laisse quelques arômes s’exprimer, notamment le retour des notes plus florales, accompagnées par les fruits secs (raisin), les notes pimentées, boisées, vanillées, rôties et chocolatées. Un profil un peu plus élaboré que les autres rhums de style hispanique, qui fera office de première passe pour les amateurs de rhums.

Le nez est sombre et un peu fermé. Ça n'est pas aussi accessible que la majorité des rons. La bouche donne une forte impression de sucrosité. C'est assez désagréable. C'est dommage car le jus semble pas mal derrière ça avec une finale rafraîchissante. Au final c'est un profil qui aurait pu être sympa mais qui le rhum est gâché par cette forte impression de sucrosité, mal intégrée qui plus est. Je croyais savoir qu'il n'y avait pas d'ajout sur celui-ci. Peut être que c'est une mauvaise information que j'avais eu ou alors ce côté sucré vient d'ailleurs. Retasting at Romdeluxe. Had a relaxing online tasting yesterday and it had a vide spread between low and high end rums. Another rum worthy of a beginner. Sweet and light like an everyday rum :-)

On The Rocks: On the nose there is a balanced mix of fruit, floral, spice and oak notes. Taste reveals a strong spike of sweetness with underlying fruit, floral, spice and oak continuing with a momentary burn. Finish is slightly bitter slowly fading away. Mixed Pepsi Zero: On the nose mildly dusty warehouse. Taste presents as a very sweet Pepsi Zero but nothing else. It is very delicious mixed but a little pricy for mixed.

Der Rum ist für Einsteiger geeignet, man wird nicht überfordert. Suess, schokoladiger Geschmack mit Roestaromen. Mir etwas zu SÜSS. Geht eher in die Richtung BOTUCAL.

It is really good rum, it is super soft and sweet at the beginning, but it has no body and it comes directly to the long woody aftertaste. Perfectly drinkable, you can even distinguish orange and chocolate in it, but for 18 years old rum, I would have expected more.

18 years that could have shined better in higher abv.. for me a beginners rum, that has its harmonies but doesn't challenge me the least. Guess it could be nice to offer friends that isn't accustomed to rum but then again other products offer more.
