Very round, pleasing and dangerously palatable Belize. Milk chocolate, cream caramel, banana, pineapple and chocolate cookies. Very tasty and a great easy sipping Belize where I don't miss any extra %.

05.09.2025 Enjoying a few samples after a hard day at work. Nose Fresh, round, fruits, light wood, light caramel, faint chocolate, faint marzipan, faint leather. Palate Oily, round, light, fruity, light wood, light coconut, light chocolate, light nutts, light mango. Finish Medium long, round, oily naturally sweet, light wood, dried fruit, spice, light nougat. Empty glass Light marzipan, citrus, chocolate, light caramel, light nutts. Also a pretty good rum and thanks goes to RhumAuction for the sample. German Rum Fest 2025 sample.

Due to its dilution, this is a decidedly pleasant and easy-drinking rum, which presents itself unusually light for an independently bottled Travellers. As a result, the somewhat burnt barrel aromas of other bottlings are missing, allowing even more dried fruits to come through, like banana chips, dried pineapple, and raisins.

Not bad in and of itself. A good easy sipper for in between, but unfortunately nothing more. I think it's a good beginner rum to explore the world of Belize. Although I'm not really a fan of Belize, I liked this somewhat too thin/mild version.
