Ehrensampl !!! Thank you my friend 😓 Great old LONG POND... Alcohol top integrated. Really tasty... Not too woody at all... nicely balanced and harmonious with fruit and woodiness. Top Mai Tai... simply awesome !!!

A precise nose that reminds you of a rum from another time. Banana, tobacco, dried fruits, yellow fruits, a vegetal note, and a slight menthol make up this complex and assertive nose. The palate also has that precise character of rums from another era. Dried fruits, leather, chocolate, and a somewhat offbeat cough syrup vibe. The finish is balanced and long. A very beautiful rum, very endearing, and in a way it reminds me of the clarity of a Bally 1970, even if the fake cough syrup taste slightly spoils the party.

#4105 I habe tried this one before and I'm still amazed at the overall balance. Light yet powerful in both fruits and spices. ABV is very well integrated and the wood is not dominating at all. Draws really nice curtains in the glass and the empty glass is really nice and I can pick up some coffee and chocolate.

Nice old school long pond. I would have expected more in terms of taste. A little too much neutral alcohol for me, could be more intense in taste.

The 33 years are definitely noticeable in this bottling. Intense woody notes, fruit, little sweetness, slightly bitter. There's also plenty of wood in the finish. For me, a touch too much of it or a slightly more present fruity note would have made it more balanced. Still, not a bad rum

Diamant Advent Calendar RFC 2024. The aroma beautifully balanced from sweet tones, through fruity to gluey. In the mouth, a full dense rum, full of fruit, chocolate, leather, and glue. Despite many years of age, it's not a woody candy, which is great. Very nice!!
