Ehrensampl !!! Danke mein Freund 😓 Toller alter LONG POND... Alkohol top eingebunden. Richtig lecker... nicht im Ansatz zu Holzig... schön ausbalanciert und Harmonisch mit Früchten und Holzigkeit. Top Mai Tai... einfach geil !!

A precise nose reminiscent of a rum from another era. Banana, tobacco, dried fruit, yellow fruit, vegetal notes and a hint of menthol make up this complex, assertive nose. The palate also has the precise character of rums from another era. Dried fruit, leather, chocolate and a slightly offbeat cough syrup character. The finish is balanced and long. A beautiful, endearing rum that, in a way, reminds me of the clarity of a Bally 1970, even if the false taste of cough syrup spoils the party a little.

#4105 I habe tried this one before and I'm still amazed at the overall balance. Light yet powerful in both fruits and spices. ABV is very well integrated and the wood is not dominating at all. Draws really nice curtains in the glass and the empty glass is really nice and I can pick up some coffee and chocolate.

Die 33 Jahre merkt man der Abfüllung durchaus an. Intensive Holznoten, Früchte, wenig Süße, leicht bitter. Im Abgang auch wieder ordentlich Holz. Für mich eine Spur zu viel davon beziehungsweise etwas präsentere Fruchtnote hätten ihn ausbalancierter gemacht. Trotzdem kein schlechter Rum
