Ein großer Rum, perfekt ausbalanciert. Für mich in der richtigen Mitte aus Teer und Süße auf der Caroni-Skala. Hat von allem ein bisschen und trifft genau die perfekte Mitte. Einige Röstaromen und trotz der 55% hier die volle Power.

#4445 03.11.2023 got some nice samples from a friend and though small they're still really good. Well rounded with very nice Caroni notes. Light fruit with some chocolate and nuts. The finish is long and warm with an earthy touch.

Epic Velier Caroni Tasting 2023: Close to Full Proof, hardly less exquisite. Typical 1994 Caroni with lots of aromatic punch full of wood, spice, tar, rubber and subtle fruit - great complexity and inspiring quality.

Mal wieder ein super Caroni von Velier. Tolle Balance zwischen Süße, Fruchtigkeit, Gewürzen und Fasseinfluss wobei das Holz und die Gewürze dominieren. Trotz der vergleichsweise geringen Prozente hat er ordentlich Power und man kann sich eine Weile damit beschäftigen.

Další z perfektních velierových plnění caroni. Ve vůni velmi technické, guma, jablka a tropické ovoce. V chuti jsou dominantní garážové tóny doplněné podobně intenzivním jablkem. Závěr dlouhý, alkohol perfektně integrovaný. Nádhera.

Des marqueurs d’atelier mécanique avec un côté givré, du jus de pomme, de l’ananas et des fruits tropicaux. La bouche est légèrement acqueuse au début, puis tout s’ouvre : atelier mécanique, jus de pomme, fruits tropicaux. La finale est longue mais plus courte qu’attendue avec une amertume noble qui donne envie d’en reprendre. Le plus faible des Caroni “hangar”, moins d’aromatique et un début de bouche un peu acqueux. Ça reste malgré tout un fantastique rhum !

Soft and balanced rum. It's good, not burning the mouth and the Caroni flavours are there. Finish is medium to long. Empty glass smells like burnt, olive and honey.
