Now a "real" Chairman's. Strong and powerful. Nose: beautifully powerful and intense. Spicy, fruity and woody. Minty-fresh, cool on the nose. Fresh lemon together with kumquat, redcurrant and blackberry. But also dry vanilla and old cinnamon powder. Chocolate and some soft licorice on the finish. I like that. 87 Palate: an interesting flavor curve... intense at first, slightly salty, then minty-fresh, then soft and muted and very chocolaty with some licorice. Then becomes slightly metallic and ends with saffron and sesame. Not totally round, but all the more interesting for that. 90 Fun to drink.

30.11.2019 A great afternoon and evening with friends, good food and of course, rum. Notes Dark in colour. Nose Intense, heavy, wood, tannins, fruity, plum, citrus, cinnamon, faint licorice. Palate Intense, warm, wood, tannins, heavy, fruity, light citrus, dried fruit, cinnamon, light medicinal, faint chocolate, light herbs. Finish Long and warm, wood, dried fruit, light citrus, faint chocolate, light medicinal.
