A rather nice blend. Jamaica is present in the background with well-present esters. Barbados brings the gourmand and easy side. I felt the Guyana less. For €34 (in Belgium) it's a blend with a rather very interesting quality-price ratio to introduce novices. Edit: same observation after a second tasting.

It's a 43% blend of: Foursquare (Barbados) 8 years, secret distillery from the Dominican Republic 5 years, Worthy Park (Jamaica) 3 years. Well, for an entry-level blend, I immediately approve. On the nose and palate you get the creaminess and honey of Barbados, the vanilla and spices of the Dominican Republic, and to top off this sweetness, the funky and banana of Jamaica 💪. Top quality-price ratio 👌. Oh yes, why call it Maman Brigitte? In tribute to Maman Brigitte, the goddess of death in the voodoo tradition.
