We feel very well the influence of the 2 origins. Very nice blend. It is round, warm. Medium/long length

Légèrement édulcoré malheureusement et ça se sent... Cependant on y trouve tout de même quelques fruits assez juteux, du Verger ( Poire / Mirabelle / Abricots ) ,tropicaux ( Mangue / Banane / Coco légère ) avec quelques agrumes confites comme de l'oranges en marmelade. Le tout est rapidement épicé ( Gingembre / Vanille / Canelle ) avec un côté sirupeux amené par une légère edulcorisation malheureusement ( Mielleux / Sirop / Caramel / Brioche ) qui nous bloque les arômes et nous laisse une texture lourde et un peu pâteuse... Enfin une pointe de bois avec une petite côté végétal ( Herbe / Floral ). Dommage que ce rhum soit sucré c'est lourd et épais... Dégusté sur un clafoutis aux cerises du jardin.

Un coeur coulant Jamaicain dans un bon caramel du Nicaragua. C'est plutôt agréable. Réduction qui le rend très accessible mais qui diminue un peu la complexité du rhum qui conserve malgré tout du punch. Très cool pour démarrer la dégustation de la gamme. Je pense qu'on est sur un Hampden ou un Long Pond.

Encore un très beau blend bien fait de chez twelve. C'est moins mon truc que les assemblages guyana ou Barbade + Jamaïque mais c'est très bien fait. Ça plaira sans souci à quelqu'un qui recherche un produit plus doux et plus facile à boire qu'un blend très typé et fort en alcool.

Le nez est frais et fruité (fruit à chaire blanche). Plutôt élégant. La bouche est douceâtre (poire, coing) avec une épice type gingembre. La bouche a aussi une forte amertume comme si on avait croqué une graine d'orange... Pas fan...

Le nez est bien fruité, jamaïcain. La bouche est plus pâtissière mais elle manque d'ampleur. La finale est assez verte. Un assemblage qui ne tient pas tout à fait ses promesses.

Dégustation au rhum fest donc incomplète... Le nicaragua prend le dessus sur le côté jamaïcain c'est sans relief porté sur le caramel.
