I think I found a perfect spiced rum (I am in the phase where I dislike spiced rums). Taste is sweet, like really sweet but I like it very much. The pineapple is the most dominant over here along with tutti frutti/candy like taste and aroma and a variety of spices. I do not have a lot of spiced rums in high regard. I mostly like Captain Morgan Black Spiced because it is great in Cola (trust me you will thank me later) it just goes together like no other.This however is probably one of the best spiced rums to be enjoyed neat.

Ne das ist nicht mein Rum. In Nase und Gaumen hat man hier Ananas und Banane. Auch recht süss der Rum. Warum er sich spiced nennt, keine Ahnung, Gewürze schmecke ich nicht. Mit Cola gemischt bestimmt top, pur nicht so lecker.

Herrlich aromareiche Nase (75+), am Gaumen nicht ganz so überzeugend, im Abgang fast etwas bitter – sicher ein schöner Sommer-Mixer. 04.2024 Erster Eindruck: Süß, Kaugummi? Nase: Fruchtgummi, Gewürze Gaumen: leicht, flüchtig, florale Gewürze, Bitters Abgang: kurz, Bitters Fazit: Warum hab ich den noch mal? Ach, ja … war ein Geschenk

... Foursquare je destilerka z Barbadosu produkujici uzasne rumy ke kazdodennimu popijeni. Je to rum, ktery oceni zejmena rumari, kteri maji plne zuby cukru a hledaji jemny, nasladly rum plny kokosu, vanilky, cokolady a karamelu. Proste prijemne a nijak agresivni chute.

Got a 5cl sample of this “liquor” from RR Tasting Club. The name Duppy Share comes from the Duppies which is a ghost taking the best part of rum around the Caribbean islands and is the same thing as Angels Share that is the “phenomenon” originally from Scotland. This spiced rum is a blend of 2-year aged rums from Jamaica and Barbados spiced with Pineapple, Kola nut, ginger, vanilla, grapefruit, clove, nutmeg, basil, and orange. For me the orange and pineapple dominates totally together with sweetness in both nose and mouth as well as during the short finish. Added sugar is 29,8gr. I’ve tasted some spiced/flavored rum that I’ve liked, but this one doesn’t count in.
