In der Nase tritt einem sofort ein intensiver Estergeruch entgegen. Ergänzt durch etwas Holzlack, Klebstoff, Haelnuss und die typische überreife Banane. Im Glas wirkt der Rum ölig und hat einen blass strohgelben Farbton. Die Aromen aus der Nase findet man dann auch auf der Zunge wieder. Dabei kommt der Rum eher trocken rüber. Im Abgang kommt dann ein Hauch Süße zum Vorschein. Untermalt wird der Abgang durch Aromen nach Banane, Olive und etwas Benzin.
