🤤🇧🇧🇯🇲 exactly what I hoped for and yet did not expect: Barbados trumps with coconut, caramel, almonds and vanilla and is supported by New Yarmouth typical banana, pineapple, raw cookie dough, some tangerine zest and ester in just the right concentration. very very harmoniously tuned and both for sipping and for cocktails (MaiTai or especially Royal Bermuda yacht club are class with it!🤤) at an insanely good PLV perfectly matched! very cool! 🙏😍

I don't know either, this rum is hard for me to classify. Smells nicer than it tastes. A mix of dry, spicy and bitter. Added to that is the somewhat sharp ABV. Unfortunately not my thing at all. More like a supermarket rum.

Harmonious blend from Barbados (main component) and Jamaica. Typical Foursquare associations on the nose with a few tropical fruits. On the palate, the Jamaican component comes out a little more. A great blend for relaxed enjoyment. However, the real strength lies in high-quality drinks.

Doesn't quite suit my taste right now either. This rum is quite sweet in taste. We have vanilla and coconut on the nose and palate. Ester is also noticeable, as well as some vanilla on the palate.

Delicious thing, I think it's also very good for a slow introduction to Jamaica. At 50%, it's a great blend from two of the biggest rum nations. Not something to really get to grips with, but very nice for a cozy evening. And with a great price-performance ratio

A blend from Jamaica and Guyana/Barbados? Esters, tropical fruits such as banana and coconut, chocolate and caramel. Spicy and dry in the mouth, with a smooth caramel sweetness. The flavors from Guyana/Barbados predominate in this blend.

8:On the nose, esters, polish, toasted wood with sweet cookie dough, alminds, spicy vanilla, tropical fruits like banana, coconut, pineapple, citrus fruits, vegetal molasses, rather mild, bump into our nosetrils. On aeration, green apple, berries and hints of red fruits, arise, the molasses is grassy, dairy and fudge also join the game. 7,4:On the palate, the attack is quite imbalanced, dry, funky with esters, medicinal notes, metallic patina, slightly alcoholic, fruity with tropical, citrus fruits, dried apricots, the wood is toasted with almonds, cookie dough, spicy with vanilla, pepper, as the molasses is vegetal with briny olive, candied. 7,7:The finish is medium long, more balanced, dry&tannic, medicinal with esters, soft, as toasted oak, spicy, pairs tropical, green and citrus fruits fruits, grassy molasses..

RumX Lottery June, RA-online-tasting. The first Seamaster, intended as a good mixer and that's exactly what it is. How does it come across neat? Nose: quite clearly we have a balanced blend of Barbados and Jamaica here. This is more of a WP than an HD. Fruity-spicy, lots of coconut and vanilla, restrained esters. Feels a bit metallic. At first the alcohol stings a bit. The metallic mingles gradually with spicy clove. At the back, you can clearly get cherry yogurt. The clove bothers me a bit and it feels a bit edgy. 7.4 Palate: the nose continues consistently on the palate. For me, the clove stands out a bit too much again. Behind it, of course, coconut and vanilla from Foursquare. Only light esters. Fruity-spicy. Not really my thing neat, but good as a mixer, with top value for money. 7.2

#4190 This rum has an edge to it and I think it'll make a pretty good rum for mixers. Medium fruity with wood and some spices. The palate is warm/spicy and the finish medium long. The empty glass is pretty strong on the toffee and light nutts.

In the taste, I can smell Barbados the most, which smoothly alternates the taste of Jamaica. It's not the worst, it's quite suitable for a quiet evening drink with friends. I would like to express my gratitude to Rum Artesanal for the flavor sets 🙏🏻

A pleasant blend where the share of 8-year-old Foursquare clearly sets the tone. The Jamaican esters only come through more distinctly on the palate and provide appropriate "funky" vibes. Enjoyed neat, despite the only 50%, it's a bit rough and alcoholic for me at times, but as a base for cocktails, this rum really shines.

RumX Community Tasting mit Rum Artesanal zur Tasting Lottery Juni 2023: Absolute Aromenbombe. Frische Minze, Holz, leicht fleischig-ledrig, etwas dezente Süsse...wow. Eindrückliche Intensität. Für mich einer der absoluten Spitzenrums aus den frühen 2000er TDL-Jahrgängen und schon jetzt ein Highlight der 20023-Releases.

Wow. At first I thought of a 90 - 100€ Barbados with the Jamaica influence but for the price? I only saw the price afterwards, fantastic for that! But I also really like the interplay between Barbados with the typical Foursquare aromas and the funky Jamaica on the palate. First "stately, solid" Richard Seale on the nose, then fruit and esters on the tongue. Great!

Won this in the june lottery of RumX. Hee hee! Pretty cool set of Rum Artesanal. So it's Foursquare (or WIRD?) and New Yarmouth? In the nose it sort of clashes and my nose picks up all these herbal notes first. After that the funk/pineapple comes through. Taste wise the Jamaican part kicks in first. Still the herbal notes keep popping up. A Foursquare would be more dominant I think so my guess is WIRD. Light. Caramel. Oranges. Interesting though. This is different than I would have expected. The funk overal is light. Most notes are subtle.

The nose is rather charming with immediately Barbados spices at the attack. Then comes the fruity salad of esters! Added to that are roasted almonds, woodiness and varnish. On the palate, Barbados wins with its coconut, caramel, almonds and vanilla. All highlighted by the typical overripe banana from Jamaica. You also find pineapple and well-dosed esters. It’s dry, intense and funky at the same time. The finish is very spicy and astringent. But the whole is very round and perfectly balanced.

I like this, it is a good composition between the mild taste of Barbados and Jamaican Funk. Well balanced, not overpowering in any way, and pleasant to drink. It should really shine in Cocktails, but I haven't done that yet. As uncomplicated companion for a quiet evening ideal as well, as it does not demand full attention. Quite reasonable Price as well.

For the price, an absolute blast. I first tried it neat and then as a mixer. It almost performs better as a mixer. My conclusion: it can do both great! Edit: Tasted again today during an online tasting and found it very good again.
