Sips easily enough neat, but most members reach for it in a ti punch. Expect fresh sugar cane, oak and vanilla, a little pepper and dried fruit at 42%. The nose runs sweet with a touch of glue; the palate turns drier before some honeyed sweetness returns. Young, straightforward Martinique agricole that does the job without pretending to be more.

Most helpful positive review
The initial aroma is very sweet, with glue and fruit, quite pleasant. On the palate, the rum is initially less sweet, rather dry. Later, the sweetness emerges in the mouth. The finish is very mild and quite long.

This rum has a temporally neutral nose, there is almost nothing to recognize except a slight woody note. On the palate there is a certain sweetness consisting of vanilla and honey, with a slightly silky taste. But a little too sweet for me.

Very basic rum, but you can't ask for miracles given the price. I think it often ends up as an old ti punch. On the whole, there's a slightly too alcoholic and peppery agricultural tendency.

A "simple" agricole rum. On the nose and palate, quite woody and caramel vanilla. The woody taste stands out mainly. Nothing exceptional but for the price, it does the "job." Finish quite average.

Je ne sais plus où je l'ai acheté mais j'ai passé de très belle soirée avec. Je recommande comme bouteille à boire + qu'à dégusté mais fait très bien le travaille (pour son prix). Rhum vieux agricole,vo de Saint James. Nez: bois , vanillé Bouche: boisé, poivré , vanillé Finale: vanillé, boisé, moyenne. Verre vide:bois,vanillé,rond Conclusion: qualité-prix très bonne(au alentour de 16-24€ euros). Très bon sipping rhum.

Boisé, vanillé, minéral. Un peu plus intense avec ses 42° comparé au HSE Ragtime ou Clement VO, on sent la canne, du boisé et de la vanille avec un peu de poivre et des fruits secs. Agréable pur, presque sucré/pâtissier, à tester en ti punch. Très content de mon achat, bouteille à 16€ en promo en grande surface

Un rhum qui se boit facilement mais doucement . Un bon goût de canne à sucre . Pour moi , il est pas très fruité ni trop sucré. Moi je le bois sans artifice ni glaçons . De toute façon , Saint James déçoit rarement .
