Very good Panama... Amontillado cask comes through well... nice fruit... chocolate, cherry, nice sweetness. All in all very tasty.

My RumRatings review from 4 years ago: The rum is immediately incredibly full and intense on the nose. Beautiful nutty aromas, tobacco, and toasted oak blend with lots of thick, easy-drinking caramelized fruit. Amazing. Absolutely fantastic. On the palate, you can taste the age. The rum has a full body. At first, it is heavy and sweet. Caramel, vanilla, fruit. Then the aging adds intense wood notes. Tannins bring spice. Bitterness with leather and tobacco. The rum gets warmer and spreads throughout the mouth. The finish is spicy with many cask notes. The rum lingers long and the flavors feel old and heavy. An absolute top Panama rum, which is not as balanced as the 21-year-old Artesano but a bit more complex. You can taste the age. The nose is excellent. The rum perfectly balanced. Classy.
