Le nez est très équilibré, il est très floral et fait voyager dans les îles. On y retrouve de beaux fruits tropicaux bien mûres (mangue, coing, framboise, …). Le tout est très gourmand et attrayant grâce à une belle louche de miel. L’attaque est plutôt gourmande comme le nez le présagé, mais en milieu de bouche tout dérape. On se prend du fumé, des notes cuivrées-métalliques voir bitumeuses plutôt dérangeantes. Cette bouche désagréable s’estompe finalement pour laisser place à une finale plus mentholée.
