7,5:On the nose, we get lots of cinnamon at first, then cardamom. These spices are very fresh and give a fairly natural impression. There's also a very pastry-like quality: the almond is reminiscent of a frangipane cake, and the spices evoke a Christmas cake or cinnamon rolls. The spices are melted into the liquid, giving the impression of a real infusion. An infusion of ginger in this case, or a herbal tea with lime leaf and lemongrass. Aeration doesn't fundamentally alter the nose, except that the roundness of vanilla is now apparent. Cardamom predominates, as do lime leaf and ginger. 7,5:On the palate, the attack is soft and sweet, but of course spicy. The same cocktail of spices is present as on the nose, but the impression is less fresh, darker, and the slightly woody rum character is now more pronounced. Cinnamon and cardamom still lead the way, and the cake is now more baked and caramelized. The rum begins to fade, leaving pepper and cola in its wake. 7,2:The finish continues with a pepper/cola duo reminiscent of a famous soda. Edit:30.1.26, it's been a long time..., 29.3.26

Doesn't suit my taste either. Somehow this Drinks by the Dram tasting box is nothing. This one just tastes like Christmas. A massive overload of spices. I think it's too strong.

Seasoning board unparalleled. Clove, cinnamon, orange, banana, fruit bread. Christmas in the nose. Very sweet, but still predominantly spicy. And so much so that it becomes really unpleasant neat. Has something of mulled wine concentrate. Especially cinnamon and clove stand out here, in the finish there's chili again. Works (as intended) splendidly with cola. Really good highball!

Coke on the nose, maybe cherry soda, so incredibly smooth on the palate, the heat is there but it so subtle, no ice needed on this one

This rum is very spicy in flavor. Definitely one for kn the winter. The taste reminds me strongly of jägermeister.

The nose has a dark, Christmas cake feel to it. Lots of orange and cinnamon, something sweet and fruity in the background, similar to Strawberry. Lots of spice. The palate is very sweet and has lots of spice; mainly nutmeg, cinnamon and anise. The orange also follows from the nose. It's a touch syrupy. The finish is quite mild, the nutmeg is still there and some new earthy notes. It doesn't linger for too long. Not bad for a "spirit drink". Very sweet. It's more a Christmas pudding liqueur than a rum.
