The pineapple here reads more candy than fruit — several tasters catch gummy bear and even apricot before actual pineapple, over a base that's very sweet, honeyed and a bit synthetic. The nose gets real praise, but the palate turns spirity and one-note. Most people who like it use it for a Piña Colada or Tiki mix rather than sipping neat.

Remedy Rum ist ideal für Einsteiger: außergewöhnlich mild, angenehm süß und ohne brennenden Abgang. Der fruchtige, fast likörartige Geschmack ist nicht aufdringlich und macht ihn perfekt zum pur genießen. Kein klassischer Rum, aber genau das macht ihn spannend für alle, die etwas anderes suchen.

Pineapple is front and center here on the nose and palate. Although I like to drink a sweet rum sometimes, this one is too unbalanced, artificial, alcoholic and too sweet for me. More liqueur than rum, but conceivable in a mixed drink.

Für einen flavoured Rum gar nicht mal so schlecht. Die Ananas riecht und schmeckt man wie zu erwarten im Vordergrund; daneben Süße, leichte Gewürze und etwas Honig. Allgemein etwas zu künstlich (was ja auch zu erwarten war)

Of course not rum, but a spirit based on rum. For me, neat absolutely nothing, too colorless in the drink. To be fair, I must say: I don't like Plantation Pineapple or Damoiseau Arrange either. But it surely has its fans.

Cheap simple rum, for the price a top pineapple rum experience. Sure it's not a mega super super rum, but for a rum on ice where you don't have to think much about complex flavors, it's perfectly suitable.

Das war einer meiner ersten Käufe nach einem Tasting. Pur schmeckt er mir nicht mehr aber ich nutze ihn mit anderen Rums in gewissen Cocktails und Tikis. Würde ihn aber kein weiteres Mal kaufen, da gibt es bessere zu ähnlichen Preisen.

On the nose an intrusive smell of sweet fruit gum. I perceive apricot rather than pineapple. Pineapple too, but very artificial. Mouth: super sweet, alcohol. And again apricot first and then pineapple. Did the producer confuse the infuser? Finish: artificial flavors and alcohol. Boring and one-dimensional. At most usable for mixed drinks.

Knew the Original Remedy and found it okay considering the price of about 20 euros, which isn't much for a rum. Forgetting the price, the Original Remedy is so-so or weak. I spontaneously grabbed the Pineapple somewhere because the price was also about 20 euros and I like the bottles, looks nice on the shelf in the collection. The taste of the Pineapple is similar to the Original, sweet and that's it. I taste a bit more fruit, though I don't really taste pineapple especially. All in all okay for 20 euros but the rum isn't really good.

Suitable for liqueur lovers. Unsuitable for lovers of cask strength rum. Watery, artificial and yet alcoholic. You have to manage that first. 😅

Extremely artificial, overloaded and sweet. Maybe this stuff works in some cocktails, but all Remedy rums I've tried neat so far are really terrible.

Uh … . Sehr künstlicher Ananas Geschmack mit 40% Alkohol und sehr süß. Diese auf Rumbasis (Karibik) basierende Spirituose hinterläßt in der Nase einen sehr fruchtigen aber künstlichen Eindruck. Der Gaumen bestätigt dies dann auch in einer vielfachen Weise. Der nach Gummibärchen schmeckende Nachgeschmack verbleibt dann auch noch sehr lange. Fazit: Dann doch lieber „Bumbu“.

As expected completely over the top. Sweet, artificial, 'pineapple'. The more air it gets, the clearer it becomes. Very sweet, honey-like and... sharp. That typical numbing pineapple note, but in a schnapps style. I find it inappropriate. As a liqueur, falernum etc. it might be fun, but as it is, unfortunately a 'phew, not that again' story.
