Eine High-Ester-Fruchtbombe! Gegrillte Ananas und Lösungsmittel dann kommt lange nichts, gefolgt von einer leichten malzigen Würze. Im Mund bleibt der Rum super fruchtig mit Gummibären und einer Säure die leicht auf der Zunge bitzelt. Der Alkohol ist fantastisch eingebunden. Der Rum bleibt immer harmonisch. Im Abgang weiter Ananas jetzt allerdings etwas unreifer und bitterer. Für eine absolute Spitzennote fehlt etwas Komplexität jenseits der Ananas und ein intensiverer Abgang. Für mich irgendwo zwischen dem RA JNY 2009 und dem Kill Devil Hampden 2007. Zu einem fantastischen Preis!

Another great ester bomb from Jamaica. Very delicious rum. The bouquet in the nose is amazing! The alcohol could be integrated better. Normally i would give a 84 rating, but the original price per value was excellent, so +2! Esterbombe. Gegrillte Ananas. Leichte Anisnoten im Abgang. Bleibt auch nach langer Zeit im Glas wild. Im Mai Tai richtig geil. Und PLV mit 50 Euro für 0,7 top.

Awesome super fruity ester bomb. Reminiscent of a high-ester WP. But also somewhat reminiscent of LROK The Younger, only this one is a little rounder and less perfumed. It's crazy that it was once available for 50€...

In der Nase zunächst eine volle Ladung Ester , gebratene Ananas, Banane . Dann folgen Anis und ein Hauch von Vanille. Am Gaumen erst minimale Süße und vergorene Ananas, der Alkohol ist super eingebunden, der Rum verteilt sich ölig samtig mit viel Holz, salzigen Tönen und Anis. Der Abgang ist mittellang mit Holz, leicht bitter und Anis! Ein guter Long Pond! Das PLV ist hier hervorragend !

Wenn Lack saufen plötzlich Spaß macht… tolle Nase, die ich am ehesten als Nagellack mit Fruchtaroma beschreiben würde. Dahinter kommt eine würzige Note mit Orange daher, die insgesamt stark an Lebkuchen erinnert. Im Mund dann überraschend süß, mit tollen Esternoten (vergorene Ananas), die schließlich ins leicht holzige übergehen. Long Pond überrascht mich immer wieder. Kein Rum für einen Abend, aber wenn es etwas wilder sein darf, genau richtig!

sowohl in der Nase als auch im Geschmack: Klebstoff und Nagellack-Entferner pur, etwas überreife vergorene Ananas, sauer-salzig und speckig umami gleichzeitig. sehr funky und Ester lastig. Alkohol ist sehr gut eingebunden und insgesamt eine runde Sache wenn man auf viel Klebstoff steht!🤙 dazu zu einem ursprünglich absolut unschlagbar guten PLV!

Schmeckt recht Jung. Hätte lieber die Zeit in den Tropen reifen sollen. Denke mal eher für Cocktails geeignet. Trotzdem schöner Rum.
