CDI Port Mourant Guyana (Bottled for Germany) 2005
Sipped neat at 45%, this drinks as an easy, approachable Port Mourant rather than a heavyweight one. The nose leans stone fruit — apricot, mirabelle plum, green apple — with that damp-gauze glue note PM fans know, and a splash of young oak. The palate turns drier and peppery, more wood and roast than the nose promises. Rounded and sessionable, if not the most complex PM you'll meet.

How does CDI Port Mourant Guyana (Bottled for Germany) 2005 taste?
Aggregated from 13 community reviews.
Rounded, entry-friendly Port Mourant Called "a very good and rounded Port Mourant" — an easy, entry-friendly PM. The catch: the 45% dilution costs it complexity, and a couple find the dry, oaky palate a step behind the nose.

A very good and rounded Port Mourant.

On its own the dilution works pretty good and this is an enjoyable PM. However, once sending him toe to toe with a CS bottling, you become aware of the reduction in complexity caused by the lower ABV.

Schöner PM in guter Verdünnung.
